**Position**: Fire Extinguisher Technician
**Employment Type**: Full-time
**Compensation**: $20/hr.
**Schedule**: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week). Flexible schedule options available.
**Job Location**: 5637 Chemin St François, Saint-Laurent, QC H4S 1W6(onsite, parking available)
**Language Requirements**: Must be able to speak French or English.
**Experience**: No prior experience needed as on-site training will be provided. However, previous experience is an asset.
**Vacation**: Employees will receive two weeks of vacation during the construction holidays, one in the winter and one in the summer. This ensures that our team can enjoy well-deserved breaks during these periods.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Inspection and Maintenance**:

- Perform regular inspections of fire extinguishers to ensure they are up to ULC Code.
- Conduct maintenance and servicing of fire extinguishers, including refilling and recharging as necessary.

**Testing and Certification**:

- Conduct hydrostatic testing and other required tests to certify the functionality and safety of fire extinguishers.
- Keep detailed records of all inspections, maintenance, and testing performed.

**Inventory Management**:

- Manage inventory of fire extinguishers and related equipment.
- Order new equipment and parts as needed to maintain stock levels.

**Poste**: Technicien(ne) en extincteurs
**Type d'emploi**: Temps plein
**Rémunération**: 18$/hr.
**Horaire**: Du lundi au vendredi (40 heures par semaine). Des options d'horaires flexibles sont disponibles.
**Lieu de travail**: 5637 Chemin St François, Saint-Laurent, QC H4S 1W6 (sur place, stationnement disponible)
**Langues requises**: Doit pouvoir parler le français ou l'anglais.
**Expérience**: Aucune expérience préalable n'est nécessaire, car une formation sur place sera fournie. Cependant, une expérience antérieure est un atout.
**Vacances**:Les employés bénéficieront de deux semaines de vacances pendant les vacances de la construction, une en hiver et une en été. Cela permet à notre équipe de profiter de pauses bien méritées pendant ces périodes.

**Principales responsabilités**:
**Inspection et maintenance**:

- Effectuer des inspections régulières des extincteurs pour s'assurer qu'ils sont conformes au code ULC.
- Effectuer la maintenance et l'entretien des extincteurs, y compris le remplissage et la recharge si nécessaire.

**Essais et certification**:

- Effectuer des essais hydrostatiques et d'autres essais requis pour certifier la fonctionnalité et la sécurité des extincteurs.
- Tenir des registres détaillés de toutes les inspections, de l'entretien et des essais effectués.

**Gestion des stocks**:

- Gérer l'inventaire des extincteurs et de l'équipement connexe.
- Commander de nouveaux équipements et de nouvelles pièces si nécessaire afin de maintenir les niveaux de stock.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- English not required
- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
