Reporting to the Associate Vice-President of Information Services, this position provides executive-level administrative assistance and support to the Associate Vice-President and Directors in Information Services.
**What You’ll Do**:
- **Empower Leadership**: Provide vital administrative support to our Associate Vice-President and the Information Services Executive Team, ensuring they have the tools they need to lead with excellence.
- **Master of Coordination**: Serve as the anchor for day-to-day operations, acting as the primary point of contact and expert liaison for all operational and administrative matters.
- **Document Dynamo**: From Board items to campus-wide communications, your knack for research, editing, and coordination will ensure our documents are polished, precise, and delivered on time.
- **Financial Master**: Dive into budget assistance with confidence, utilizing your sound understanding of financial processes to analyze, forecast, and monitor budgets with finesse. Track, code, and submit expense reports like a pro, both internally and externally, ensuring accuracy and efficiency every step of the way.
- **Communication Guru**: Craft written responses to informational requests that are clear, concise, and reflective of our commitment to excellence.
- **Organizational Champion**: Plan and organize the activities of our leadership team, from arranging meetings to managing calendars and everything in between, ensuring smooth sailing amidst busy schedules.
- **Institutional Navigator**: Support our institutional priorities and initiatives by providing essential reporting, contributing to business continuity planning, and coordinating project and policy communications.
- **Office Manager**: Keep our office running like a well-oiled machine by fulfilling administrative requirements, facilitating procurement, and maintaining our policy repository with precision.
- **People Professional**: Partner with Human Resources to oversee recruitment and selection processes, coordinate onboarding activities, and manage the administrative aspects of employee departures.
- **Digital Expert**: Collaborate with our Information Services team to develop and maintain engaging website content that keeps our community informed and inspired.
- **Committee Champion**: Represent Information Services in university committees, helping to shape administrative matters and ensuring efficient committee functions.

Position Requirements
**What You Will Bring to the Position**:
- At least 5 years’ experience providing executive administrative support at the senior management level, including calendar management, document tracking, and records management system creation and maintenance; may consider equivalent experience
