Sales Leader, Construction Finance

**About**
As part of the Sales Leadership team, you will have to play a fundamental role in our diversification group in Canada. This is a key part of our diversification initiative and part of Mitsubishi HC Capital Canada's 10-year growth plan.
Your main responsibilities will be to lead a team of business development professionals and, as a team, achieve sales and growth targets by developing strong relationships with vendors and clients while ensuring compliance with the organization's policies and procedures.
**Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients and vendors
- Prospect to direct clients along with vendor programs to ensure a mutually beneficial agreement
- Understand clients and vendors' requirements and financial constraints to offer tailored financing solutions
- Analyze clients needs and financial solutions to design financing agreements that meet their specific needs
- Present credit proposal to internal credit committees for approval
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in order to develop new programs offered to clients and vendors while making sure that corporate requirements are met
- Lead a team of business development professionals and perform human resources duties such as recruiting, training & coaching, performance management
- Play an active and leading role promoting, nurturing, and guarding a sound risk culture with customer focus
- Support team members in the various steps of the sales process in order to offer tailored financing solutions while meeting corporate policies and procedures
- Stay informed about equipment finance and industries trends
**Profile**
- At least 8 years of experience working in construction finance and leasing industry including experience in a leadership role
- Demonstrated experience in business development and sales is required
- Have a deep understanding of the construction finance and leasing industry
- Ability to develop sales strategies for the assigned segment focus
- Excellent ability to negotiate
- Good problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills
- Action-oriented
