**Job Title**:Human Resources Coordinator

**Reports to**: HR Lead

**Location**: 1400 Creditstone Road Unit A, Vaughan, Ontario

**About the role**

This individual will work with all department heads to support companywide-operating objectives. This position will specialize in the ability to multi-task and be a central point of contact for managers, supervisors and employees.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- This person must demonstrate confidentiality above and beyond anything else and respect the employee’s privacy while working through different situations.
- Comply with and enforce Occupational Health and Safety Act, internal safety rules and regulations within all departments.
- Be a key member of Joint Health and Safety Committee, ensuring activities are completed according to external and internal requirements.
- Comply with and enforce Employment Standards Act legislation.
- Comply with and enforce articles in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Assist with managing full cycle recruitment activities for all levels of staff.
- Supporting the team in the hiring and training of new personnel.
- Maintain on-going employee training programs in-line with company initiatives.
- Analyzing attrition and other data points regarding employee base and identifying/implementing solutions in conjunction with and in support of other departmental efforts.
- Assist with development and execution of Company HR policies and procedures.
- Provide administrative support for associates as it relates to company programs/form completion.
- Utilize HRIS System for HR/payroll activities including various reports.
- Be a key member in coordinating associate events.
- Promote positive associate relations with all levels of staff.

**Education Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business, Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations, or related field.
- Completed or in progress CHRP/L designation preferred.
- Other recognized HR/HS courses.

**Other Job Requirements**
- Previous work experience in HR department preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to communicate with various individuals both inside and outside of the organization; Communicate using courtesy, tact, discretion. Fluent use of English - written and spoken.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Possess sound judgment, decision-making skills and the highest ethics.
- Ability to lead and promote a safe and positive work environment.

Shift timing: 9am - 5pm (flexibility when needed)

Wage Rate: $24.00/hr
