This position is responsible for the assisting in planning, creation, and scheduling of production work in support of daily manufacturing operations. Assists the Production Planner and others in determining and setting the production schedule. This is accomplished through close Liaison with Sales and the Plant Manufacturing staff in various departments.

The objectives of this position are to plan, production work orders to meet customer demand and to assist in the planning and ongoing maintenance of sufficient finished goods inventory levels to meet corporate sales order commitment targets.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for the daily review of customer sales orders received and the coordination of related production job requirements utilizing the AIMS software system for specific departments.
- Plan specific production requirements and produce a production schedule for specific areas of the plant.
- Monitor production targets as per feedback from Production Supervisor.
- Plan production taking into account manpower availability and expected delivery times.
- Review priorities daily and adjust production schedules as necessary.
- Assist Sales, Purchasing, Quality and Accounting staff with the timely resolution of production job and sales order issues and discrepancies.
- Attend weekly Production meetings to communicate updates on the current and up
- coming schedule.
- Assist with inventory adjustments and cycle counts to maintain correct inventory values.
- Adheres to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties and in accordance with the Company Health & Safety Program.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Experience using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software
- Attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills

**EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum of two years Production and/or Material Planning experience.
- Experience working with a computerized production and material planning system.
- Experience working in a manufacturing operation.

**No transit service, applicants must have reliable transportation**

**Must be legally permitted to work in Canada.**

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$52,000.00 per year
