**Job description**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

The person in this role will be responsible for the bookkeeping, payroll, and administrative duties of multiple businesses, each employing approximately 100 employees, from an office in Liberty Village.
- **Bookkeeping**: Oversee banking and finances of multiple clients, responsible for accounts payable and accounts receivable, assist Accountant with any bookkeeping discrepancies, tax payments, audits, and any matters relating to the CRA.
- **Payroll**: Process high volume payroll, issue T4's and ROE's, reconcile pay discrepancies, expense reimbursements, calculate taxable benefit deductions, track vacations, point of contact for Service Canada regarding any requests, manage employee files, process employee onboarding and offboarding, adjust parameters such as wages, salaries and positions, issue contracts.
- **Admin**: Maintain all municipal and provincial permits, licences, insurances, other tasks as required.

**EXPERIENCE**
- Bookkeeping - 1 year+
- Payroll - 1 year+
- Hospitality background in a professional role may prove useful

**EDUCATION**
- Post-secondary
- Business Administration or similar (preferred)

**SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES**
- Bondable
- Highly organized and efficient
- Acute attention to detail and extremely thorough
- Self-starter and able to work mostly autonomously
- Proficient with Mac/iPhone operating systems
- Proficient in Google Drive (Docs, Sheets) and/or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Proficient in English: Speaking and writing with a high level of professionalism, correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure

**STRUCTURE**
- Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
- Office environment
- Benefits available

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
