  • Process payroll for employees and contractors accurately and on time.
  • Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and distribute employee paychecks, statements, and reports.
  • Manage employee benefits, including insurance, retirement plans, and other related programs.
  • Reconcile payroll transactions and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Handle inquiries and requests related to payroll and benefits from employees and management.
  • Assist with general bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards.
  • Support financial reporting and analysis as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in payroll processing and bookkeeping required.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, ADP, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.
  • Experience in the sports or education industry is a plus.
