Position Overview: This is a 12 weeks Internship program starting from June. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Business Operations Intern at our retail store in Hillcrest Mall (Richmond Hill). As an intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our organization. This position offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business operations, develop practical skills, and contribute to the success of our company.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring smooth and efficient processes across various departments.
- Support the implementation of operational strategies and initiatives to improve productivity, streamline processes, and enhance overall business performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and communication channels, fostering a cohesive and productive work environment.
- Conduct research and analysis on industry trends, competitor strategies, and customer preferences to provide insights for decision-making.
- Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and preparing regular reports to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Support inventory management efforts, including tracking stock levels, coordinating with suppliers, and optimizing inventory turnover.
- Assist in customer service activities, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned, providing support and contributing to their successful completion.

Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in business administration, fashion management, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collect and analyze data, identify trends, and propose practical solutions.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all tasks.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with project management or data analysis tools is a plus.
- Prior experience or knowledge of business operations, project management, or related areas is beneficial but not required.

**Requirements**:

- Registered as a domestic student in a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution (international students are not eligible).
- Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or persons to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant federal, provincial or territorial legislation and regulations.
- Registered in a program or course with a WIL component as part of their study plan.
