**Opportunity**:
We have an opportunity for an Accounting Assistant to join our Administration team. This role is full-time permanent, and based at our Annacis Island, Delta BC facility.

**Role Description**:
This position reports to the company’s Senior Accountant / Office Manager.

General Responsibilities:

- Accounts Receivable
- Accounts Payable
- Account status management
- Timesheet processing
- Purchasing
- General administration

Software Proficiency Required:

- Familiarity with using databases is important for this role. Although database development is not a requirement, proficiency using MS Access would be an asset as we use Access-based programs heavily.
- Highly proficient in MS Excel; proficient in MS Word and Outlook.
- Personal drive and a strong sense of accountability. You can take ownership and have an intuitive sense of where the performance bar needs to be.
- An active contributor and team player. You want to build and share your knowledge and support new initiatives. You’ll assist where you can and won’t hesitate to ask for help.
- Computers aren’t a barrier. Highly adaptable and intuitive with software in general.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills, with an ability to engage people in a positive manner.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized. You shine when managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
- You’re enthusiastic about evolving process.

**Compensation and Benefits**:

- Annual Bonus: Typically 5-10% of base depending on company and personal performance.
- Medical and dental benefits are available after a probationary period

**To Apply**:
Pay: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
