**Job description**

Our Team is expanding, and we are looking to hire Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Clerk for a full-time position located in Delta BC.

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3pm.

The AP/AR Clerk will be responsible for conducting and supporting day-to-day accounting activities.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Prepare, generate, and maintain the monthly financial records
- Participate in the month-end closing process including account analysis and reconciliation
- Assist with filing invoices, matching POs, verifying billing, and recording the transactions in the general ledger
- Ability to consistently meet deadlines while ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong customer service skills including but not limited to communication skills, ability to multitask problem solving and analytical skills.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or similar field
- Minimum of 1+ years experience as an AP/AR Clerk in large to medium size companies
- Experience with SAGE 500/EM
- Working knowledge of APSE and relevant accounting standards
- Experienced in high volume accounts AP/AR processes
- Proficient in MS Office with intermediate to advanced skill set in Excel
- Strong Data Entry skills
- Exceptional English skills both written and verbal
- Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines

**Salary**: From $40,000.00 per year
