Magnacharge Battery has been a Canadian leader in battery wholesale since 1964. As a battery distributor, our customers rely on us to provide them with diverse and premium product ranges, efficient service and environmentally sound programs to support green initiatives in the products we offer. Located on Annacis Island (Delta), BC, we are searching for an Accounting Clerk to join our team.

**Accounting Receivables Coordinator, Full Time**

Reporting to the Controller and working with the finance team, the Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for accounts receivable and general accounting.

**Responsibilities will include**:
**Accounts Receivable**
- Prepare and deposit cheques and make payment postings.
- Review customer inquiries and resolve invoice and payment issues with customers.
- Make collection calls on overdue accounts.
- Reconcile customer accounts and send out month end statements.
- Resolve branch queries with customers.

**General**
- Provide assistance to the Controller with month end reports and preparation of audit documents.
- Filing of all financial documents.
- Answering phone calls, etc.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- Post Secondary education in accounting program.
- 3 - 5 years experience with computerized full-cycle accounts.
- Strong computer experience using MS Office Suite, databases and accounting packages. Experience working with Syspro Software an asset.
- Quick and accurate data entry skills.
- Clear English language communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Effective communicator, who takes initiatives and has strong problem-solving abilities.

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

**Experience**:

- Accounts receivable: 3 years (required)
