Five Star is growing We are looking for a People Administrator to join our team.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assists with recruitment process by posting vacancies, screening and filtering resumes, scheduling interviews, and performing reference checks.
- Performs orientation and update records of new hires.
- Assists in preparing employee-related documentation, disciplinary letters, termination letters, etc.
- Issues, monitors, and reconciles inventory of keys, company uniforms, cell phones and all Five Star property for employees.
- Assists with payroll, ROEs and T4 documentation for biweekly employees.
- Assists in the planning and execution of company/employee events such as Job Fairs, Annual Holiday Party, Seasonal celebrations, etc.
- Assists operations with employee's attendance for future coverage if needed.
- Undertakes special ad hoc projects as required.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- Bachelor’s Degree/diploma in human resources management or related field
- 2+ years HR experience, preferably with a focus on recruitment
- Payroll and benefits experience; and knowledge of Ceridian software is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel spreadsheets/ functions

- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional organization skills, ability to multi-task and prioritize work

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
