**Who we look for**: The Systems Administrator will focus on providing “Tier” T1 and T2 support to the end users and T3 support to the IT team. The individual will detect and analyze problems related to PC, Printers, Firewalls, Network Equipment, Servers, and Security systems. This role provides IT support while monitoring PC/LAN/WAN/WLAN/VOIP hardware performance/ problems.

**What you will do**:
**_ IT Operations _**
- Ensure that new hardware/software and security solution deployed meets the minimum requirements for privacy, in accordance with industry standards and government regulations
- Project the lifespan of equipment by analyzing the hardware, software, and problems reported on such equipment
- Deliver regular reports that clearly communicate the results and/or progress of daily IT operations
- Provide client support and technical issue resolutions via E-Mail, phone, and other electronic mediums
- Research, plan, install, configure, troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade hardware/software/operating systems
- Monitor system performance and report to the Head of IT when anomalies, errors, inaccuracies, or inefficiencies occur; make recommendations as needed
- Responsible for managing service contracts/warranties/renewals and submitting yearly budgetary proposals
- Provides support and education to end users on features, operation, and usage of hardware/software systems

**_ Strategic Planning_**
- Collaborate and communicate closely with IT leadership and the end user community to provide support and services
- Define the need for new hardware/software such as PC, Server, Firewall and other technologies or solutions related to infrastructure security
- Make recommendations, to the Head of IT, with respect to purchasing decisions for infrastructure hardware/software
- Meet with the IT team to develop a proposal for equipment requirements/acquisition with a cost analysis that meets business objectives as well as the technology need
- Coordinate consultation sessions with end users to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementation

**_ Policies and Procedures_**
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures for the usage of IT systems
- Select among authorized procedures and seek assistance when guidelines are inadequate, significant deviations are proposed, or unanticipated problems arise

**_ Health and Safety_**
- Work safely in compliance with accepted safe work practices, procedures, and legislated health and safety standards
- Report hazards, accidents, and the absence of or defect in any equipment or protective device

**What you will need**:

- University degree in Computer Science or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in data design, analysis, engineering and enabling the use of data warehouse, and analytic technologies for self-service.
- Very good Knowledge of PC/Server hardware and software
- Computer proficiency and Good knowledge of varies Microsoft Applications
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries from managers, clients, and employees
