The Markham ENT clinic is looking for a new medical office administrator/secretary We are a medical specialist office in Markham, Ontario near the border of Richmond Hill and Markham. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with an inclusive and supportive work culture.
**Position**: Medical Office Administrator
- Full-time (40 hours per week), permanent position.
- Work hours: Monday to Friday, generally 08:30 to 16:30. These hours may vary depending on the doctor’s schedule.
- Starting salary: $21-24 per hour. Experience will be taken into consideration. There is opportunity for growth.
**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**:
- Experience as Medical Office Administrator/Secretary and/or Diploma in Medical Office Administration
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in both verbal and written English
- Strong work ethic, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Computer skills and typing proficiency. Experience with Accuro and EPIC is an asset.
**Responsibilities of the position include**:
- Managing the front office (checking in and checking out patients, answering the phone)
- Manage electronic medical records, booking & confirming appointments
- Booking surgeries at Mackenzie Health Hospitals
- Ordering supplies, sterilizing equipment and surgical instruments
