As the **Administrative Assistant, **you will provides prompt, professional administrative support to internal departments and visitors to the administration office, as well as assisting the Corporate Secretary in supporting the Board of Directors.

**What you’ll do**:

- Assist in organizing aspects of Board of Directors and Committee meetings, attending as recording secretary as needed.
- Monitor Board and Committee policies and workplans, and administrate the Board portal.
- Provide planning support for annual events, such as the Annual General Meeting, Business Excellence Awards, and Board Planning Session.
- Undertake governance activities relating to annual Board elections, including coordination of delivery and collection of materials for annual elections.
- Perform a variety of office support functions such as filing, sorting mail, and ordering office supplies.
- Maintain a neat, organized, and orderly front office, board room, and meeting room.
- Greet and assist visitors to the 3rd floor of SASCU’s Downtown building.
- Ensure compliance with the corporate records management and retention of records policies and procedures.

**What you’ll bring**:

- At least 1 year of post-secondary education in Administration or Business Management or equivalent, or be registered in such a program.
- At least 1 year of senior administrative experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required, and board portal software is preferred.
- Understanding of Board governance, and familiarity with meeting minute taking.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability to working with various stakeholders and changing priorities and timelines.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to professional results.
