Marketing Assistant

True EV is seeking a Marketing Assistant who is interested in tackling a variety of exciting and complex challenges to help us grow our business. This opportunity is perfect for an organized self-starter with excellent communication skills who is eager to take on exciting tasks within a fast growing business. In this position, you will have a vital role in the growth of True EV by working on a variety of initiatives. This position is ideal for those who thrive in fast-changing environments as every day is different.
The Marketing Assistant’s primary role is to aid the team through all stages of the customer journey from customer acquisition, to project execution and coordination, to billing and post-project follow up. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys taking on new challenges and is eager to learn new skills. Here are some tasks you may be involved in:
- Respond to inquiries made by clients about company products and services in a timely manner;
- Assist with management and coordination of remote contractors including scheduling and billing;
- Schedule interviews with news agencies to improve brand exposure and Public Relations (PR);
- Meet with prospective clients to learn about their needs and recommend solutions accordingly;
- Occasionally host webinars, tradeshows, and other events related to our business industry;
- Record and edit videos, and write content for social channels (IG, LinkedIn, FB);
- Message connections on LinkedIn using Sales Navigator to increase leads;
- Aid in the development of new marketing strategies for various verticals;
- Write occasional blog posts about the company and relevant news;
- Seek out new prospects and book meetings for our sales team.
- Interact with other brands through social channels;

- You’re highly self-motivated, with an entrepreneurial mindset, and ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- You’re authentically you; an ambitious self-starter, with a proven track record of delivering results
- You’re a natural problem solver, excited to learn, continuously improve, and iterate on a sales process to guide customers through their evaluation.
- Ability to ask thoughtful questions, listen actively, and empathize with people.
**Required**:
- 1+ years in an assistant, business, marketing and/or sales-related position.
- Resume and Cover Letter
- Experience posting social media content for a business.
- Efficient and thorough at performing research.
- Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to adapt to change as every day will be different.
- Must be results driven and eager to take on new challenges.
Duration: 4 to 12 months
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Internship / Co-op
Part-time hours: 15-40 per week
**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
