**Position**:Administration and Digital Media Assistant

**Hours Per Week**:32-36 hours per week

**Shifts**: 11:30-7:30 Monday - Thursday (occasional weekends required)

Dance Magic Studio is a dynamic, busy, and inclusive dance, music, aerial and performing arts studio that is proud to be locally owned and operated for 36 years. **Responsibilities - Administrative Tasks**:

- Manage general front desk tasks, including greeting families, answering inquiries, and providing a welcoming atmosphere.
- Assist with enrolment processes, guiding families through registration and program selection.
- Accept payments, maintain accurate records, and provide receipts as needed.
- Provide information about available programs, classes, and schedules to prospective and current members.
- Support the team by providing necessary tools and materials required for successful class execution.
- Assist in sales activities by highlighting the benefits of various programs and classes to potential students.

**Digital Media and Content Creation**:

- Create and edit reels on a weekly basis for social media platforms, showcasing highlights of classes, performances, and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Capture creative content for live stories and posts on social media channels, ensuring a consistent and engaging online presence.
- Collaborate with instructors and students to capture high-quality photos and videos for promotional materials.
- Stay updated on social media trends and dance industry news to produce relevant and appealing content.

**Qualifications**:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with students, families, and team members.
- Basic knowledge of dance and the ability to understand and convey information about various dance programs.
- Proficiency in digital media tools, including video editing software and social media platforms.
- Creativity and an eye for capturing compelling visual content.
- Sales and customer-oriented mindset with a positive and friendly attitude.
- Previous experience in administration, customer service, or digital media is a plus.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in administration, communication, or media-related fields is an asset.
- Proficiency in using video editing software and social media platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required by studio events and activities.
