**Position Title**
- Digital Marketing Specialist**Position Summary**
- Red Deer Polytechnic is looking for an individual with a passion to communicate the Polytechnic’s brand as a Digital Marketing Specialist. We strive to provide our stakeholders with innovative marketing and communications strategies that are consistent with Red Deer Polytechnic’s overall brand image and connect with our institution’s diverse audiences.
- The Digital Marketing Specialist will create, maintain, and optimize digital pay per click marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. Collaborating with the design and marketing team, the Digital Marketing Specialist will manage multiple digital advertising campaigns for various internal clients to support Red Deer Polytechnic business goals.**Position Responsibilities**

**Digital Marketing Advertising**
- Create, maintain, and optimize successful pay per click digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels, including but not limited to Google Search & Display, LinkedIn, Meta, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Amazon, and Microsoft.
- Work with Marketing Strategists to develop effective creative ads that meet business needs and adhere to RDP’s brand. This includes drafting content to ensure message resonates with target audiences and fits specifications of a particular medium; editing; proofreading.
- Implement media, book advertising; complete purchase requisition and ensure process adheres to purchasing policies outlined by Financial Services.
- Place all online media advertising (e.g., Google, Facebook, Twitter & Instagram, You Tube, Snapchat, Tik Tok, Spotify) for requesting departments and monitor effectiveness; change/update messaging as needed to ensure audiences respond
- Research emerging media, current trends, and best practices to ensure brand consistency.
- Manage and maintain data dashboards for each market and digital marketing platforms to track performance and optimize marketing strategies.

**Project Management and Marketing Measures**
- Track and report on campaign analytics including engagement and click through rates.
- Implement and monitor SEO strategies to improve website visibility and drive organic traffic.
- Work closely with the Communications Strategist - Website to assist with SEO and SEM related to online advertising.
- Work with Marketing Strategists to assist in developing digital marketing strategies.
- Schedule all online advertising described in planning, having input into digital solutions.
- Manage all aspects of all our digital screens across campus to adhere to brand guidelines.

**Brand Management**
- Ensure that RDP brand is effectively and consistently integrated within all digital marketing and communications initiatives, directed internally and externally
- Assist with the Polytechnic’s brand management and best practices research (e.g., Brand Standards maintenance and implementation).

**Brand Stewardship**
- Allocate, utilize, and adhere to budgets identified by requesting departments to develop appropriate collateral materials and digital advertising.
- Recommend appropriate digital media, frequency, and schedule to effectively advertise to identified target audiences, using budgets identified by Marketing Manager as part of marketing and media plans.
- Ensures daily management and optimization of media-spend budgets, keyword list-management, and oversight of ad copy.

**Required Qualifications**
- Two (2) years of post-secondary training, completion of a community college certificate including trades apprenticeships or equivalent.**Please specify which program is required for this role**:Diploma or degree in Digital Marketing, Communications or Public Relations.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Four (4) year undergraduate degree, or three (3) year undergraduate degree plus one full additional year of university in a related program representing four years of study or equivalent:
