**About Our Opportunity**:
The Outpost for Public Sector Innovation (OPIN) has a team of multidisciplinary professionals that work across departments to address complex problems using innovative tools and approaches. We are looking for a _Researcher, Outpost for Public Sector Innovation_ to join a small, dynamic team of intrapreneurs to conduct research and analysis that will be used for project/program development and delivery within the Behavioural Insights program, and to support leadership in the coordination and implementation of corporate requests and special projects. With guidance from the team, the incumbent will leverage a variety of emerging innovative methods to gather research, engage clients and partners, and visually represent data.

**Primary Accountabilities**:

- Conducts analysis on data and information. When needed, can take data and represent it in a variety of visual formats to tell a compelling story.
- Supports Director in the coordination and implementation of corporate requests and special projects, ensuring that OPIN meets and delivers on key priorities related to the business plan.
- Writes briefing notes and information notes for the effective communication of CIU programs and initiatives.
- Tracks, monitors and reports on research project timelines and deliverables.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
You also possess the following:

- Strong research and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail, prioritization and organizational skills with the ability to combine speed and accuracy while under pressure to meet deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Report writing experience
- Experience conducting data analysis

The following will be considered strong assets:

- Experience using virtual collaboration tools such as Mural, Idea Boardz, etc.
- Experience designing and updating internal Sharepoint sites.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel

**Working Conditions**:

- Normal work week is 35 hours/week, 7 hours/day
- The Outpost for Public Sector Innovation is located at VOLTA, alongside local resident start-ups and other corporate outposts.
- Opportunities also exist to work from home and engage in flexible working schedules.

**Pay Grade**: PR 06

**Salary Range**: $1,936.88 - $2,014.19 Bi-Weekly
