Job Summary and Qualifications

Areas of specialty:
The Network Administrator role is to ensure the stable operations of the computer networks. this includes panning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing all network hardware, software, and communication links.

Qualifications:

- Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related technical discipline desired or equivalent experience.
- Five or more years of experience in IT management
- Deep knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (ex: Microsoft, SharePoint), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring
- Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions.
- Strong creative and analytical thinking

Duties & Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

- Network Maintenance: Regularly monitor and maintain network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve network issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Security Management: Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
- User Support: Provide technical support and assistance to users experiencing issues.
- Configuration Management: Configure and manage network devices such as routers, switches, and wireless access points.
- Backup and Recovery: Ensure regular backups of network configurations and data, and develop recovery plans for potential network failures.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance and make adjustments to improve speed and reliability.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.

Pay: $67,690.00-$89,780.00 per year
