Boeing Canada Winnipeg is seeking **Network Administrator**, reporting to the Senior Information Technology Manager, working out of the **Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada** office.

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Evaluates and communicates technical information and solutions with customers, suppliers and teammates at all levels of the organization in a professional manner
- Analyzes, manages, documents, and maintains Ethernet network topology, network devices, servers and server operating systems, subsystems, and components
- Evaluates complex system's production readiness and supportability
- Provides corporate Cisco networking experience including Cisco switching/routing, and the building of resilient TCP/IP networks
- Ensures Information Technology infrastructure conforms to standard architectural objectives as well as meets security objectives
- Works directly with other functional areas to ensure Information Technology infrastructure solutions meet the enterprise requirements and schedules
- Administers user system access and establishes safeguards to protect information to meet security requirements
- Performs the restoration of routine to complex computing service operations

**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**:

- 3+ years installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering Cisco hardware in a corporate environment (Catalyst switches, ASR routers, wireless controllers, access points)
- 3+ years of experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, and administering support in a corporate environment for Unix / Linux (AIX, Red Hat)
- Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the job in a large factory environment
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods
- Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data

**Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience)**:

- Experience with Dell/EMC Unity storage array and Brocade FC switch
- Cisco certification (CCNA)
- AIX-based IBM Spectrum Protect centralized backup software experience
- Experience with Juniper Network Junos OS firewall and Juniper Security Director in a corporate environment
- Experience with Network cabling (copper and fiber)
- Industrial Control Systems/Operational Technology (ICS/OT) security experience
- Wireshark experience

**Typical Education and Experience**:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
