Highly Skilled Network Support Specialist

Job Summary:
Shared Health is seeking a highly skilled Network Support Specialist to join our team. This role requires a minimum of 3 years' experience in supporting complex network environments, with a focus on routing, switching, SD-Wan, firewalling, wireless deployments and troubleshooting, monitoring, and analyzing logs.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting network hardware, applications, and operating systems configuration and backup
- Security administration, information and event management, and log management
- Physically replacing hardware and participating in a provincial on-call rotation
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in enterprise information technology providing infrastructure support
- Diploma in information technology from an accredited postsecondary institution
- Vendor and industry certifications in specific technologies and functions are assets
- Valid Manitoba driver's license and use of a personal motor vehicle for occasional travel within Manitoba
Preferred Skills:
- LEADS in a Caring Environment leadership capabilities at the front-line developmental level
- Familiarity with vendor-specific support tools such as Aruba Central, Orchestrator, and ClearPass or Cisco Prime, ISE
Work Environment:
- Typical office environment with occasional physical demands including lifting and moving large computer equipment up to 50 lbs
- An 'on call' rotation of evenings/weekends is required, some overtime as needed
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
