The Gaming branch is responsible to achieve annual revenue targets through provincially operated gaming activities that align with AGLC's vision of responsible gaming. The branch ensures that Gaming activities in the province are operated with integrity and social responsibility, aligning with Gaming Regulations and Board Policy and deliver on commitments to stakeholders in the province of Alberta.

Gaming activities included Electronic Gaming Machines (EGMs), Electronic Table Games (EGTs), Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs), Lottery and Online Gambling.

**JOB SUMMARY**
Working with the EGM Operation Team, Production, Technical Compliance and the Field Deployment Manager; the Logistics Manager helps to find the most efficient and effective ways to flow product in and through the warehouse out to the field. The Logistics Manager must work with all Gaming Branches/Divisions to ensure that all staff, casino, VLT and ticket lottery organizational needs are met for field projects as well as day to day business.

The Logistics Manager is responsible to meet branch goals, and ensure that projects do not affect regional goals which are monitored monthly, retailer surveys and staff surveys are all measurable reporting that can be utilized to improve, acknowledge successes and meet the needs of staff, AGLC organizational needs and external client needs.
- Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory within 3 warehouses and for field operations implementing cycle counts for audits. Tracking the usage of items in JDE, Solochain and Clientele.
- Ensure adequate inventory levels are maintained in Calgary warehouse to maintain daily activities.
- Creative solution and proactive thinking on meeting of timelines for project related challenges are critical to the success of this role.
- Managing the logistics for the VLT, Ticket & Casino supplies are the most complex as these requirements constantly change, spread out over a wide range of functions,
- Participate and lead teams as required for the development and implementation of corporate strategies, Business Plan, and operational plan to achieve the AGLC Vision, Mission and business plan goals and objectives.

**SKILLS & ABILITIES**
- Post-secondary degree in management, diploma in electronics or equivalent production and technical experience. Supply chain//logistics certification, or an equivalency of education and a minimum of three (3) years’ experience in Gaming, supply chain, logistics, electronic production or a similar field at a supervisory level.
- Minimum of three years (3) in a supervisory or leadership experience. Knowledge of the gaming industry and management of field operations with background in planning projects or experience in supply chain logistics considered an asset
- Experience with JDE, Clientele and Solochain or other inventory management systems is preferred.
- Strong skills in the following: supervision/ leadership, communication; written and verbal, computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point,).
- Exceptional level of initiative and ability to be self-directed, ability to focus on priorities.
- Strong and Effective interpersonal skills - able to communicate to various levels of management.
- Positive leadership abilities, leadership experience in a customer service organization and skilled in developing staff and implementing new initiatives with business and stakeholder groups.
- Dynamic leadership skills to continuously enhance, improve, and empower a strong, effective, and focused team of employees who has positive leadership abilities, able to co-ordinate multiple tasks, personnel, and resources with high energy that thrives in a fast-paced environment.
