Professional Visual Artist Collective providing artistic leadership toward manifesting creativity, curating platforms for artists to facilitate, exhibit and market their work and supporting communities that desire engagement through arts and culture.

**Position Title**:Arts Administrator
**Part-Time**:30 hrs per week
**Hourly**:$15.50
**Contract Term**: Summer 2023, starting Mon. May 15, 2023
**Hours Required: Weekdays** with remote flexibility; some **weekends and evenings** where required.

**DESCRIPTION**:
Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will co-ordinate and be responsible for the administrative functions of Beaux Arts Collective; other tasks and duties as required.

- have a valid Social Insurance Number and be legally entitled to work in Canada

*At the beginning of the employment period.

**International students are not eligible participants as the temporary nature of an international student’s time in Canada does not allow for a long-term connection to the labour market.

**Job Requirements**:

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint
- Experience with online communication platforms (e.g. Zoom, Asana, Google Docs)
- Experience with social media platforms (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, etc)
- Working knowledge of Adobe Suite Programs; Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Reader
- Experience with video or video editing, or working knowledge with Filmora
- Copy writing and reporting skills
- Creative, forward-thinking, and can work independently
- Outgoing and personable

**Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Implement policy and procedures of the organization as it relates to administration
- Maintenance of database records for memberships, sponsorships, shows, and programs (both hard copies and electronic files of each)
- Oversee and communicate schedule/calendar for Beaux Arts events and programs
- Liaise with members, volunteers and outside vendor/suppliers where required
- Coverage of organizational meetings and events; warm greeting to audience members, promoting of exhibitions and programs, collecting stats
- Equipment supervision and maintenance.
- Disseminate, coordinate and support member inquiries and meetings as needed
- Coordinate and disseminate monthly content across all platforms, update/maintain website, as required
- Support in-person events and programs; social media content creation, event set-up and take-down, general outreach, etc.
- Process sales, assist in batch closing and payables/receivables - _accuracy is important_
- Assist with the development of monthly newsletters, as well as other digital and print content for our shows, events and programs, including press releases, posters, etc.
- Assist with the development of fundraising activities and sponsorship programs
- Assist in the promotion of call to artists and events/programs.
- Develop and schedule social media content and social campaigns for upcoming programs, events, calls, online digital tools, etc., where needed.
- Develop and coordinate cross-promotional opportunities with business partners and arts organizations, source information about current and upcoming local arts events and programs, where needed
- Assist in the creation and uploading, as well as editing of video content, where needed
- Maintain consistent communication with Board of Directors, and active Committees and Members to ensure continuity and success for organizational programs and events
