Training Solutions Sales Manager

**JOB DESCRIPTION**
**Position title: Training Solutions Sales Manager**
**Reports to**: Senior Director, Airport Experience and Strategy Airport Service Quality (ASQ)
**Location**: Montreal, Canada
**Job Type**: Permanent
**1. Areas of Responsibility**:
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive revenue growth through the promotion and sale of training solutions to clients across the airport ecosystem.
- Generate and manage leads, customer acquisition and retention with ACI Accredited Training Partners (ATP), Airports (HR, Training, other departments) and ASQ Development team.
- Develop and manage sales reporting activities, analyze trends, and provide actionable insight.
- Manage contractual responsibilities and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in collaboration with the Legal department.
**2. Major Duties and Accountabilities**:
- **Sales strategy and planning**
- Accountable for hitting revenue targets by increasing the number of in-house contracts and the contracts value.
- Proactive collaboration with GT Training Portfolio Managers and ASQ Development team to ensure integration of sales strategies with overall GT course management and ASQ sales targets.
- Assist the Global Training (GT) and ASQ team with the planning and execution of commercial tactics (bundling of products, multi-year plan)
- Participate in GT and ASQ operations meetings to:
- understand ongoing training needs of customers,
- build the proper SOP between GT and ASQ
- Provide updates on sale’s strategy and results.
- **Customer development and retention**
- Participate in key ACI World conferences, events and symposia to generate leads and build relationships with key clients and accounts (Example: CX Summit, WAGA).
- Support the sales process by managing the request for quotes, proposals, RFPs and follow-ups.
- **Contract management and reporting**
- Prepare contracts and follow-up for completion.
- Develop, manage, and monitor the sales tracking and reporting activities as well as the customer research and prospecting support.
- Provide sales forecasts.
- **Other duties as assigned**.
**3. Supervisory Responsibilities**:
- Potential for the establishment of a direct reporting structure as business volumes reach a specific threshold in the future.
4. **Education/ experience**
- University degree in administration, human resources, marketing or related discipline, postgraduate qualifications would be an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of pertinent experience in sales and business development of services including training.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key industry stakeholders.
- Strong sales strategy development, planning and execution skills.
- Familiarity with contractual management and negotiation.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Ability to formulate and articulate sales vision and objectives.
- Experience working within various international markets and cultures would be an asset.
- Aviation or airport-related experience would be an asset.
**5. Skills and abilities**:
- Proactive, collegial, tactful, and discreet in all dealings.
- Excellent written and spoken English skills: ability to communicate in a welcoming, effective, and dynamic manner.
- Working knowledge in languages other than English would be an asset.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite software (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
