**Summary of the role**:
The role of the Bilingual Training Specialist is to support and train our new & existing sales and account management employees during the course of their employment at Global Payments. You will demonstrate Global Payments expertise and will ensure that our employees all have the knowledge, skills & resources to be successful. This includes creating and providing in-person & hybrid training to new and existing employees. This role will be based out of our Montreal office, with the opportunity to have work-from-home days when not training.
**What you will do**:
- Identify and assess training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and communication with managers, supervisors, and human resources.
- Create learning objectives based on learning and performance gaps.
- Determine best learning solutions based on learning and performance gaps.
- Collaborate with colleagues and program stakeholders to design and implement learning solutions & reinforcement tools that align training objectives with business needs.
- Oversee the administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs (i.e. training schedules, communication, training reports, lessons learned etc).
- Maintain training materials to ensure documentation is current and relevant given product & market changes and evolution.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to learning solutions to ensure constant improvements
- Deliver training sessions and learning solutions using in-class, e-learning, virtual facilitation, and blended learning methods. Content will include product, services, systems, sales skills, soft skills etc.
- Guide and support the development and success of sales and support teams.
- Maintains records of training and development activities, attendance, results of tests and assessments, as well as retraining requirements.
- Work closely with the sales support administrators and our training coordinator.
- Suggest automation opportunities to enhance and ensure Global Payments employee experience is exceptional.
- Handle day-to-day operations and serve as a point of contact for French employees to address and resolve their requests, concerns and inquiries.
- Work with other departments to improve onboarding processes and procedures.
**What Are We Looking For in This Role?**
- Computer/Systems skills:_
- Salesforce (preferred)
- Adobe LMS (asset)
- Adept with a variety of multimedia training platforms and methods.
- Knowledge of client management and intake systems and technology databases.
- Communication skills:_
- Must be fluent in English and French, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated excellent skills in employee relations.
- Strong presentation skills and facilitation skills.
- Experience/Skills:_
- Experience with various training and delivery methods, including in-person, virtual, hybrid, instructor-led, workshop facilitation, etc.
- Exceptional teamwork, engagement and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills including; negotiation, mediation, and conflict-resolution skills
- Proactive, and takes responsibility for finding solutions and results to problems through persistence and initiative
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced team environment with minimum supervision
- A strong communicator (verbal and written) with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to assist employees with operational training requests utilizing excellent follow-up skills
- Able to multitask and prioritize multiple deadlines and excel at the organization in a fast-paced environment combined with a high degree of attention to accuracy
- Excellent time management, multitasking and organizational skills, including the ability to be a strong team player as well as the capability to work well independently
