**What We Need**:
The **Billing Coordinator **is responsible for** **supporting our utility clients with day-to-day meter-to-cash processes and contact centre operations.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Fulfill daily collections procedures as scheduled in a regulated industry:

- Issue reminder letters to customers
- Initiate automated reminder phone calls
- Complete outbound phone calls to customers in regard to outstanding account balances
- Manage meter disconnect and reconnections with third party vendor
- Manage collections related service orders
- Input data through manual and automated processes
- Administer reporting through various platforms (Teleworks, consolidated usage, developer listings, customer counts, month end and year end reporting)
- Process and track payment files (PAP, lockbox, web payments, cheques) as required
- Generate daily, weekly, monthly statistics for reporting
- Revise standard operating procedure documents as required
- Participate in ad-hoc projects and other tasks as assigned

**Knowledge/Education**:

- Bookkeeping experience or other financial skill sets are sought after but not mandatory

**Experience**:

- 1-3 years’ experience in a billing, accounting or other financial skill set is highly desirable
- Experience in a billing or customer service role within a utility is an asset
