**How You’ll Make an Impact**:
As a _Supply Chain Specialist_, you will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager, R&D and Operations teams. As the lead point of contact with our manufacturing and logistics partners, you will ensure our products are manufactured and delivered in accordance with our timelines. This role operates out of our Head Office in Niagara-on-the-Lake.
- **Supplier Management**: Communicate PO’s to vendors and negotiate time, quality, and cost
- **Tracking**: Communicate with manufacturing partners on a regular basis to follow up on production and shipment timelines
- **Problem Solving**: Identify, discuss, and solve all supply chain issues to meet our deadline
- **Cost Optimization**:Review, analyze, and negotiate manufacturing and logistic costs quarterly to ensure we are very competitive
- **Logistics**:Coordinate all inbound shipping internally and externally
- **Recording**: Maintain accuracy of data in our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and other project management software
- **Planning**: Develop and execute plans to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget
- **Travel**: Must be able to travel internationally to Asia approximately four (4) times a year, and domestically as required (as deemed safe post COVID-19)
- **Other**: Join ad hoc projects with the Operations, Research and Development, and Accounting Teams as needed and perform other duties as assigned by your manager
**Who You Are**:
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English and fluent in Mandarin
- A degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or another related field
- 2+ years of supply chain experience within a high-volume consumer products company
- Extremely detailed oriented
- Proficient in project planning
- Advanced level and passion for Excel
- Ability to adapt to and manage changing priorities independently in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment without missing critical deadlines
- Team player with excellent people skills
- Ability to work during evenings to communicate with remote suppliers
