**Job Summary**:
This position reports directly to the Plant Manager. Primary purpose is to insure customer orders are
delivered complete and on time while maintaining a competitive lead time. Lead, assess, and coordinate the Casting, Quality, Materials Flow, Shipping/Receiving & Plant Scheduling. Responsible for linking sales to manufacturing and coordinating demand to plant capacity. Provide recommendations on manning requirements to meet demand.
**Required Education/Experience**:
- Minimum 5 years of Production Control Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Manufacturing exposure to aluminum extrusions, finishing, or fabrication industry is a plus
- BS required.
- Certification in Supply Chain, Production Control, or Inventory
- Management a plus
- Strong MRP/ERP, Oracle/SAP/AS-400 experience preferred
**Preferred Skills/Qualifications**:
- Experience with ERP systems; (AS400 a plus)
- Understanding of Supply Chain concepts
- Strong analytical and independent decision-making skills
- Working knowledge of manufacturing resource planning,
- particularly work scheduling / lead times
- Meticulous attention to detail; Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to flourish in a fast-paced, changing production atmosphere while working independently with tight schedules and adhering to the highest standards of excellence
- Operative communication skills both verbal & written.
- Effective leadership & presenter with a “people” & “customer” focus.
- Proficient in micro office; excel, word, power point
- Ability to present a positive unified front to all employees, reinforcing the goals, strategies, and personal commitment of the leadership team.
