**Main Purpose and Function**

The Clerk III will provide office and administrative support to the Clerk IV. They will support the operations of Park Food Concessions and Clubhouse operations and the functions of the Food Services office.

**Specific Duties and Responsibilities**

This role is a combination of customer service, procure to pay functions, cash management, and general administrative duties. Some of the duties include: Responding to inquires from the public and staff, addressing customer complaints, assisting the concession operators and clubhouse staff, establishing supplier schedules and delivery requirements, and sorting and matching invoices to set up for payment while resolving any discrepancies. Additional procure to pay functions include acquire pricing from suppliers, coordinate maintenance and repairs on kitchen equipment, preparing purchase requisitions, and process all concession operations and clubhouses related Accounts Payable. Processing cash register reports and reviewing PCI and cash handling procedures, while maintaining records is a key aspect of this role. In addition, this role entails many general administrative tasks including but not limited to: maintaining security of confidential information and materials, gathering reporting date, supporting back end software systems and POS systems (such as Volante), assist supervisor in opening and closing of seasonal concessions, monthly inventory, inventory management, and other support and administrative duties as required.

**Qualifications**

Education and Experience:

- Considerable related experience as an Office Support Clerk III, or an equivalent combination of training and experience related to the work.
- Experience in the Food Service industry is an asset
- Food Safe - Level 1 and Serving It Right Certifications are an asset

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

- Excellent communication skills are an asset.
- Ability to demonstrate active listening skills as well as the ability to exercise tact and discretion in dealing with the public.
- Knowledge of the food service industry is preferred.
- Proven accuracy pertaining to all financial and inventory reporting processes. Demonstrates experience in analytical reporting and data compilation.
- Demonstrates leadership with the ability to set personal goals and objectives and to achieve performance expectations with limited supervision.
- Successful at building collaborative partnerships with internal and external stakeholder and staff. Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, including a pleasant and professional attitude.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions with a strong knowledge of business English, spelling and grammar.
- Ability to process information accurately and with extreme attention to detail. Ability to adapt quickly to new software programs and technical processes.
- Ability to be flexible and work collaboratively with a team or independently in a high volume environment, often with frequent interruptions.
- Must be able to multi task and accept changing priorities at times to meet deadlines. Ability to take direction willingly and follow through with tasks.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel, SAP purchasing and payroll, Procure to Pay, electronic and manual filing systems, with the ability to create spread sheets, write and generate reports.
