- The City of North Vancouver is the urban core of the beautiful North Shore and has a long-term vision to be “The Healthiest Small City in the World”, with five key priorities to be a City for People, a Liveable City, a Vibrant City, a Connected City and a Prosperous City.- The Building Division within the Planning and Development Department is looking for a Clerk III to join their team.**Responsibilities**Requirements**:

- Completion of the 12th school grade including or supplemented by courses related to the work (such as Diploma of Technology in Building or related discipline), plus considerable experience with municipal permit administration or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required. Thorough knowledge of related bylaws, acts, and regulations; a strong competency in reading plans, surveys, and related material will be required. You will also have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), keyboarding skills at a minimum net speed of 40 wpm as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.**Compensation**
- $31.97 to $37.58 per hour- (Pay Grade 17 - January 2024 Rates)**Hours of Work**
- The City of North Vancouver currently works on a compressed work schedule of 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with one scheduled day off (Monday or Friday) approximately each three-week scheduling cycle.**Additional Information**How to Apply**
