**About The Role**

The purpose of the **Philanthropy Associate** is to implement multi-channel strategies for donor acquisition, solicitation for entry-level gifts, and strategies for gift renewal and upgrades which create a habit of giving on a regular basis. This includes direct mail, online fundraising, telephone fundraising, supporting third-party events, and assisting the Annual Giving and Donor Relations Team, as required.

As a member of the Ecojustice Philanthropy team, the **Philanthropy Associate **will play a key role in:

- Providing overall administrative support to Ecojustice’s Philanthropy team and it’s fundraising campaigns, including direct mail and online fundraising.
- Ensuring accurate and efficient management of donor data via data collection and entry, performing queries, and producing reports.
- Participate in donor stewardship, including acquisition and retention strategy.
- Support project management including coordination of print materials, including liaising with staff and vendors.
- Provide administrative support of online fundraising campaigns/appeals.
- Help with third-party fundraising events and relationship-building with vendors and community partners.

**Role Success**

Typically, we find that people who succeed in this role bring:

- At least 1 year of administration or fundraising experience; an equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar office administration software
- Effective communication and relationship building skills
- Attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to prioritize
- Effective problem solving skills and is self-motivated
