As a **Key Account Manager** at 7shifts, you will focus on handling all aspects of our key accounts experience with 7shifts, owning the relationship between the customer and 7shifts and playing a critical role in driving their continued success. Your goal is to maintain strong relationships with our most strategic customers, mitigate churn and grow their existing accounts through additional revenue generation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of a best-in-class Success team that is results driven and eager to grow together.
**What you'll do**:

- Serve as a primary point of contact and cultivate strong relationships with our most strategic customers to ensure their overall satisfaction and success.
- Identify new business opportunities and upsell existing customers in order to grow their accounts, as well as mitigate churn within your book of business.
- Consistently achieve and exceed revenue based MRR targets.
- Act as a product expert by having a deep understanding of the 7shifts value proposition and how our product specifically meets restaurant needs.
- Seek to understand key changes in the restaurant space, as shared by your customers, and communicate effectively to our product team to support alignment in product advancement.
- Act as a liaison for our Marketing team in gathering information on our most strategic customers for the creation of marketing materials such as case studies, podcasts, and blog posts.
- Travel to industry events, including but not limited to: trade shows, customer conferences and hospitality alliances within North America.

**What you have**:

- 2+ years experience as an Account Executive, Account Manager, Customer Success Manager or Partner Account Manager in SaaS, working with mid-market and/or enterprise customers and sales cycles.
- Strong communication, relationship management, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Organizational ability and attention to detail to manage a large book of business, with a hybrid touch approach.
- Experience working with a CRM (i.e. Salesforce) and/or customer success platform (i.e. Gainsight, Vitally, ChurnZero) to manage and organize your pipeline and book of business.
- Ability to embrace change and "roll with the punches" in a fast paced environment.

**It'd be even cooler if you had**:

- Understanding of and/or experience in the restaurant tech industry (POS, ATS, HR/Onboarding, Payroll, EWA, Reservations, Inventory Management, etc.).
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and restaurant industry trends and best practices.
- Proficiency in Spanish or French.
