Office Manager/bookkeeper

Metric offers in-house design and project management and we are looking for a full-time office Manager to support with bookkeeping and project coordination.
Project Support:
Creating agreements / proposals / presentations
Project inventory & material management
Creating project folders & organizing documents
Site deliveries and co-ordination
Supply Chain Management:
Co-ordinate the shipping and logistics of the delivery
Assist with receiving orders
Coordinate project materials
Project paperwork
Order tracking and warranty
Supplier relations
Packing and unpacking of shipments
Coordination of items to job sites
Reception:
Answer general phone inquiries using a professional and courteous manner
Reply to general information requests with accurate information in a timely manner
Showroom organization and maintenance
Administration:
Manage mail, courier deliveries and distribution
Office supply management
File materials according to procedures
Aid in refining and developing procedures
Update and ensure accuracy of databases
Administrative support to team members
Help to co-ordinate the maintenance of office equipment
Resident IT, figuring things out on the fly, problem solving
Sorting of price lists and supplier materials
Creating PO’s, orders, managing orders
Financial Management:
Process Accounts Payable/Receivable according to existing processes
Completing entries and general company reporting
Complete reconciliations and bank deposits
Software programming/entries, spreadsheets and POS support
Bookkeeping
Bank deposits
Payroll
CRA remittances
Reports

Working Conditions
Most work is in an office environment between 8-5 Monday to Friday, and we are flexible with the hours worked providing that it is consistent. Some travel, site work and flexibility in regard to time will be required.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and mobilize small to heavy items. Ability to drive locally or out of the city with access to a vehicle & valid driver's license
