**Position Summary**

As the Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our organization by overseeing and executing strategic marketing initiatives. This position requires a skilled and innovative individual with a strong understanding of marketing principles, market trends, and consumer behaviour. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our brand, increase market share, and drive B2B customer engagement.

Overall, as the Marketing Manager, you will have the opportunity to enhance our brand, drive growth and make a lasting impact. Your strategic thinking, creative flair, and passion for delivering impactful marketing campaigns will contribute to the overall success of our organization.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

In this role, you will get to:

- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote and enhance the brand image of CosMic Plants.
- Create and implement effective campaigns to increase brand awareness, drive customer engagement, and generate B2B sales.
- Create and manage CosMic Plants' annual campaign calendar, to ensure campaigns are executed in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Production Teams to ensure cohesive marketing initiatives that align with immediate and long-term business goals.
- Communicate campaign objectives, timelines, and deliverables to the Sales Team, and provide instructions for the use of promotional materials.
- Manage the development of and production of marketing materials, including flyers, news articles, blog posts, social media posts, etc.
- Create content with strong attention to detail (text, grammar, graphics, format, consistencies).
- Administer the procurement of value-added products; manage the inventory of those products.
- Work with the Sales Team to manage strategic partnerships for campaigns and track their performance to align with marketing objectives
- Provide ongoing marketing support to all customer locations, implement marketing strategies, and ensure consistent branding and messaging.
- Manage the marketing budget, allocate resources effectively, and track expenses to ensure optimal utilization of funds.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, suppliers, industry influencers, and outside partners such as digital marketing agencies to explore partnership opportunities.
- Plan and execute product launches, promotional events, and trade shows to promote our brand.
- Follow market trends and have an awareness of consumer behaviour and the competitive landscape; report and provide advice to the Sales Team based on findings.
- Perform merchandising check-ins for our key retail partners.
- Participate in weekly meetings.

**Preferred Qualifications and Skills**

We are looking for someone who:

- Has strong project management skills and a background in developing and executing marketing strategies. Has experience communicating with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the process.
- Has the ability to bring new ideas to the table. We value individuals who can think creatively and are capable of reinventing strategies, to continue driving our marketing initiatives forward.
- Is structured and organized to ensure deadlines are consistently met, all while keeping strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Brings experience in collecting and analyzing data to make informed decisions, optimize marketing strategies, and measure the success of marketing initiatives.
- Has 3+ years of B2B and/or B2C marketing experience, preferably in the floral industry.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
