Human Resource Administrative Assistant

1. Provides advice, assistance and follow-up on employment law, company policies, procedures and documentation to supervisors and managers.

2. Serve as the link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and administering policies, and helping to resolve work-related problems.

3. Support management-level employees and perform a variety of tasks.

**Experience**:

- Strong administrative, organizational and time management skills.
- Experience or general interest in Human Resources.
- Bilingual French is an asset.
- Excellent oral, written and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle time sensitive situations.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Critical thinking and problem solving while working independently.

**Education**:
Working towards completion of BBA, BComm degrees or college diploma in Business and Human Resources.

Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Assist with general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Coordinate appointments and maintain calendars
- Assist in resolving any administrative problems
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Assist in organizing and scheduling meetings

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a related role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Google Suite is a plus
- Experience in a medical or dental office setting is preferred
- Familiarity with basic office equipment and procedures
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour
