**By Joining Our Communications Team**
CPA Ontario is currently in search of a **Communications Manager **who will be responsible for the development, project management and execution of external and internal communications programs. The Communications Manager will be accountable for writing and material development, as well as overseeing and owning projects end-to-end to ensure flawless delivery. The Communications Manager will also partner with multiple internal departments and aid in the development of communications plans to reach a variety of audiences, including employees, members and students.
**What You’ll Be Doing**:
**Creating of a wide range of communications products and materials** including executive speeches, member and student communications, corporate reports, key messages, newsletters, and presentations for a variety of audiences.**Providing strategic communications input to marketing campaigns** and events, while owning and overseeing multiple project deliverables.
**Partnering with design and digital teams, as well as external agencies** to ensure appropriate “tone and voice” in organizational messaging.**Acting as an advisor to various internal cross-functional teams** on communications matters while providing strategic communications planning and advice to support internal business partners in navigating issues related to communications initiatives.
**Exercising good judgment in identifying and responding to complex issues or inquiries** and demonstrating leadership in developing strategic and timely responses that protect our corporate reputation.
**Who You Are**:
A post-secondary graduate preferably in Communications or Public Relations with a minimum 5 years of progressive communications experience within an agency or corporate environment. Prior experience working for a regulatory body or member-focused organization would be an asset.
An expert at writing, proofreading and editing with proven experience in planning, developing and delivering strategic communications.
A supportive leader with the ability to work in a highly collaborative cross-functional environment.
Adept at operating with a high degree of autonomy, a proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to build relationships and establish rapport with others across the business.
An excellent communicator (verbal and written) with strong presentation, interpersonal and public speaking skills.
Able to demonstrate analytical skills with excellent attention to accuracy and detail while working with ambiguity.
Well organized with superior project management skills and proven ability to work well under pressure.
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams and experienced with digital communications tools and know how to leverage them to their full capacity; experience with web or marketing cloud considered an asset.
Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment where work outside of regular business hours may be required.
