Zurich Canada is currently looking for a 6 Month Contract Automobile Underwriting Subject Matter Expert with expertise in all Canadian automobile forms, but particularly garage, non-owned automobile, excess auto, and contingent lessors. It will also be beneficial to have international automobile experience.

Reporting to our VP, Auto and Transportation, you will be key in providing underwriting direction for the further development and implementation of our underwriting platform. You will work with the existing automobile SME, plus on and offshore developers and programmers. You will also conduct testing, provide training and provide user manual updates of changes.

Job Qualifications

**What you bring to the table**:
Minimum of 15 years expertise in automobile underwriting, prior technical role would be an advantage.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

**What you will do**:
Working under mínimal direction with highly complex assignments.
Demonstrate specialized knowledge and expertise in products and industry.
Serve as main contact for assigned target policy forms.
Develop training.
Resolve issues as they arise with respect to development project.
Provide expertise on coverage issues for platform development.
Provide status reporting to manager and team.
Provide user demos.
