The division supports health research across the province. In doing this work, the division cooperates with the clinical leadership team, with the Health Sector Information, Analysis and Reporting Division, and across the ministry and health system. The division provides the necessary supports to align clinical knowledge, data, and research into an idea engine for innovation in the health system and follow these ideas through decision to implement, and implementation.

The Policy Analyst will support the Health System Transformation Branch to advance large scale innovation projects through supporting research, analysis and monitoring of specific, complex innovation initiatives. The Policy Analyst will be expected to independently manage assigned policy/innovation development projects focused on the review and alignment of existing ministry programs or legislation, and support necessary processes to advance on new ministry programs or legislation as it relates to innovation initiatives.

**Job Requirements**:

- Degree in business administration, public administration, social or health sciences, or equivalent.
- Experience researching policy issues and conducting policy analysis.
- Experience managing projects and/or project components.
- Experience preparing briefing materials to management audiences
