**JOB OVERVIEW**

The Governance and Performance Reporting role provides management support and advice to ensure the deal and related IM/IT governance committees function as effectively and efficiently as possible. Effective governance includes the development and distribution of performance reports that best meet the needs of committee members and facilitates informed and evidence-based decision-making.

The Governance and Performance Reporting Analyst helps the Device Services Branch as it relates to the Joint Executive Committee, which includes Ministry Chief Information Officers, meet governance objectives by ensuring that the quality of advice and information presented to the governance committees and decision bodies is of a high standard; that information presented for decision-making is fulsome and complete including supporting evidence, financials, and performance indicators; and supports committee decisions that are consistent with the overall policy, fiscal, legislative, contractual and strategic priorities of the Branch, OCIO and the Province.

The Governance Secretariat and Performance Reporting Analyst is a key position that provides secretariat functions to multiple committees, including the timely production, circulation and archiving of deal governance documentation; researches, analyzes and reports on leading practices governance; and implements performance measurement and reporting to demonstrate the contract obligations, value realized and other branch accountabilities.

**Job Requirements**:
**Education and Experience**:

- Degree in business administration, public administration, or related field; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Experience in a senior administrative, large procurement, or program management role.
- Experience developing briefing notes, performance reports and presentations for Management and Ministry Executive.
- Experience in a technology-dependent business area.
- Experience dealing with highly confidential and sensitive issues.

**Preference may be given to applicants with the following**:
Two (2) or more years’ experience in one (1) or more of the above requirements.-

The position headquarters will be Victoria.
