**Responsibilities**:

- Answer phones and direct calls
- Create patient charts, insurance verifications, and other patient information needed for insurance verification
- Schedule appointments
- Answer patient questions/comments and redirect accordingly
- Check in patients for appointments
- Update medical records including but not limited to: charts, insurance information, lab orders, etc.
- Assist with billing by collecting copays, deductibles, co-insurance, etc.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Medical Office Assistant Diploma
- 1 year of recent related office/clerical experience or an equivalent combination of education training and experience.
- Successful reference checks

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
