We are currently seeking a Legal Assistant with a minimum of 3 years experience to support our Civil Litigation department. Applicants will be well rounded in all areas of law with a proven background in litigation processes.

**Responsibilities**:
- Answer phones and schedule appointments for attorneys
- Manage the calendar
- Draft correspondence and other legal documents
- Order and organize documents
- Develop filing systems
- Answer phone calls, take messages, and redirect calls to appropriate personnel as needed
- Ensure deadlines are met and brief documentation is completed on a timely basis
- Maintain contact lists
- Draft legal correspondence,
- Perform other clerical duties such as managing the calendar, organizing documents, taking notes, transcribing audio/written material, answering phone calls, etc.
- Assist with meetings with attorneys and other legal staff members
- Prepare briefs for clients (legal research)
- Prepare client files for attorneys to review
- Prepare motions or requests for court or another party (legal research)
**Experience**:
Required:
- 3+ years of experience in a legal setting (Paralegal or Legal Assistant)
- Esilaw preferred but not required.
**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
