**Customer Service Representative**
**Responsibilities**:
- Conduct research to identify potential customers and educate them on products or services offered.
- Collaborate with team to develop proposals, negotiate sales contracts, and close deals.
- Manage customer accounts, provide ongoing assistance, and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and complaints and provide service recommendations and solutions.
- Utilize tools to maintain accurate records, analyze sales data, and forecast future revenue.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitive offerings, and provide feedback to management on customer preferences and needs.
- Attend trade shows, conferences, and other networking events to promote products and services and generate leads.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers through regular communication and follow-up.
- Maintain extensive knowledge of product or service line and communicate it effectively to customers.
- Work collaboratively with other departments and divisions to ensure customer satisfaction and sales goals are met.
**Education and/or Work Experience Required**:
- Successful completion of post-secondary school education or equivalent, plus job-related coursework or specialized training in freight forwarding.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products and Cargo Wise software(s) programs or similar
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Customer Service.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Fluent in English and French
**Physical Requirements**:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the federal, provincial, and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with federal, provincial, and local standards.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone in both French and English

**Responsabilités**:
- Mener des recherches pour identifier des clients potentiels et les informer sur les produits ou services proposés.

- Rester au courant des tendances de l'industrie et des offres concurrentielles, et fournir des retours à la direction sur les préférences et besoins des clients.
- Participer à des salons professionnels, des conférences et d'autres événements de réseautage pour promouvoir les produits et services et générer des prospects.
- Développer et entretenir des relations positives avec les clients par le biais d'une communication régulière et de relances.
- Maintenir une connaissance approfondie de la gamme de produits ou services et la communiquer efficacement aux clients.
- Travailler en collaboration avec d'autres départements et divisions pour assurer la satisfaction des clients et atteindre les objectifs de vente.
**Éducation et/ou expérience professionnelle requise**:
- Avoir terminé avec succès des études postsecondaires ou l'équivalent, ainsi que des cours liés à l'emploi ou une formation spécialisée dans le transport de marchandises.
- Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et verbale. Maîtrise des produits Microsoft Office et des logiciels Cargo Wise ou similaires.
- Au moins 2 à 3 ans d'expérience en service client.
- Solides compétences organisationnelles avec la capacité de gérer plusieurs tâches et de les prioriser. Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français.
**Exigences physiques**:
- Capacité à effectuer en toute sécurité et avec succès les fonctions essentielles du poste conformément aux normes fédérales, provinciales et locales, y compris les normes de productivité qualitatives et/ou quantitatives.
- Capacité à respecter une présence régulière et ponctuelle conformément aux normes fédérales, provinciales et locales.
- Doit être capable de soulever et de transporter jusqu'à 20 livres.
