Event Manager

**Responsibilities**:
- Manage/oversee all set-up and cleaning activities to ensure Glow Gardens is ready to open.
- Manage all Zone Supervisors and Security personnel.
- Manage main stage entertainers and Santa visits.
- Manage Venue to ensure food & beverage, and janitorial services are being fulfilled.
- Deal with customer complaints or concerns that rise above the authority of the Zone Supervisor.
- Deal with any emergencies and liaise with onsite First Aid personnel.
- Manage onsite policy infractions.
- Manage weekly staffing schedule.
- Ensure the Maintenance Team is responding to issues in a timely manner.
- Liaise with media outlets and respond to requests to organize onsite interviews or filming in collaboration with the public relations department.
- Manage zone inventory in collaboration with Zone Supervisors.
- Manage VIP guests as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Have preferable 2-3 years of experience in organising and executing events
- Have at least 1 year experience in people management.
- Project management experience considered an asset.
- Demonstrated experience with time management and employee scheduling
- Verbal and written communication skills and the ability to successfully engage all levels of the customer base
- Must be available to work flexible hours to accommodate event schedules
**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour
