**Events Coordinator**

Reporting to: Marketing Manager

Part-time: 15-25 hours, On-Site/Event Presence

$19 per hour + bonus opportunities

The Events Coordinator will be responsible for the planning, execution, oversight and attendance of various events to ensure they are executed successfully and aligned with the organization’s goals.

**In order to fulfill the tasks at hand, you’ll need to be highly experienced with this entire stack**:

**Successful Event Execution**
- Plan, organize, and execute events, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the desired outcomes.
- Oversee event logistics, including site selection, venue arrangements, event permits, transportation, and accommodation arrangements.
- Coordinate on-site activities during events, ensuring smooth operations and problem-solving in real time.

**Effective Marketing Team Collaboration**
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align event goals with overall marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Assist in developing marketing collateral and promotional materials to support event objectives.
- Provide post-event feedback and insights to the marketing team to help refine future strategies.

**Vendor and Supplier Coordination**
- Identify and liaise with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to secure necessary services and equipment for events.
- Negotiate contracts, manage relationships, and ensure that all agreements are met to the highest standards.
- Monitor vendor performance and address any issues or changes promptly.

**Execute Ground Campaigns (Door-to-Door)**
- Plan and execute effective ground campaigns, including door-to-door outreach, to promote events and engage with the local community.
- Recruit, train, and manage campaign teams to ensure message consistency and effective outreach.
- Track campaign results and adjust strategies as necessary to maximize impact.

**Develop and Implement Strategies for Brand Partnerships and Activations**
- Identify potential brand partners and develop strategies for partnerships that align with the organization’s goals.
- Plan and execute brand activations to enhance visibility and engagement during events.
- Collaborate with partners to create co-branded events and campaigns that benefit both parties.

**To get to know you better, it would be great if your resume can demonstrate the following experience**:

- Post-secondary education in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in event planning or coordination.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proven experience in vendor management and negotiation.
- Experience in executing ground campaigns and community outreach preferred.

**Skills**:

- Proficiency in event management software and tools.
- Creative problem-solving and resourcefulness.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and brand management.

**Working Conditions**:

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Travel to various event locations may be required
