Reporting to the Director, Employer Experience, the Employer Experience Specialist cultivates and maintains excellent relationships with CAAT employers, proactively assessing and understanding each employer's perspectives and priorities, and helps the CAAT teams to do the same. Ensures a seamless transition between CAAT teams throughout employer onboarding process.
**We are looking for some with the following attributes**:
- Minimum of eight years’ experience in the pension industry, with a strong knowledge of Defined Benefit (DB) pension plan design and administration across Canada
- Experience with jointly sponsored or other multi-employer pension plans
- Subject matter expert in defined benefit plan administration.
- Industry experience in a relationship management capacity
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Actuarial Science or related field
- Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Able to collaborate and build strong partnerships with employer representatives and across CAAT, demonstrating workplace values of teamwork integrity and trust
- Exceptional customer focus with strong business and professional acumen
- Organized, self-starter, flexible, highly independent
- Demonstrated high energy level and ability to take on additional responsibilities as required
- French is considered an asset
**Once here you will**:
- Oversee the onboarding of specific new employers, ensuring a seamless transition between CAAT teams throughout this process
- Marshall appropriate CAAT resources to ensure excellent service delivery and enhance employer satisfaction
- Create and maintain reports relating to the CAAT employer experience and employer engagement
- Work cross-functionally to identify areas where we can enhance the employer experience and propose solutions
- Engage with employer contacts (primarily executives) to ensure needs are met
- Cultivate and maintain excellent employer relationships with executive decision-makers for specific CAAT employers throughout their onboarding and on-going participation in the Plan
- Proactively assess and understand each employer’s perspective and priorities, helping the CAAT teams to do the same
- Take the lead in employer escalations and assist the CAAT teams with solutioning
- Lead employer reviews to discuss service performance and SLAs, trends, priorities and upcoming initiatives
- Promote the value that CAAT delivers, both internally and externally
- Leverage an advanced understanding of CAAT processes, marshalling appropriate CAAT resources to ensure excellent service delivery and enhance employer satisfaction
- Possess strong influence across CAAT to align resources across functional areas to best serve employers
