**The Opportunity**:
**Accountabilities**:

- Define an effective performance testing strategy.
- Make recommendations on the appropriate client device infrastructure needed to execute the performance tests.
- Identify Risks and/or limitations associated with the current test environment.
- Identify key load and performance testing scenarios, understand various user interactions, and simulate with test data definitions.
- Design and implement performance test plans, and test cases for new and existing functionality using load testing tools.
- Set up and maintain performance/longevity test labs that will require to be updated for each release cycle.
- Manage hardware and software environments used for testing.
- Provide a Test Project Closure Report, or similar documentation, at the end of execution.

You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of co-workers by observing all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.

**Skills, Capabilities and Experience**:

- Degree in Computer Science or similar field
- 1+ year experience in performance testing
- 1+ year experience with web-load performance testing and its analysis
- Experience in load test tools - JMeter, Blazemeter, Neoload or any other performance measurement tools
- Proficient at performance trouble shooting (heap dump & thread dump analysis)
- Experience in translation of system performance requirements into Test Cases / Scripts
- Exposure to several types of performance testing such as load testing, stress testing, spike testing, and soak/longevity testing.
- Knowledgeable in current technologies including database platforms, cloud platforms, automation tools, DevOps, and configuration management.
- Familiarity with SQL, stored procedures, and general database operations.
- Familiarity with MS-Software based technology stack, Oracle RBMS platforms, and Linux server-based systems would be desirable.
- Familiarity with Test Management Software (i.e., Spiriest,)
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
