Opportunity Overview
The Global Client Relationship Management team within the Capital Markets division at Royal Bank of Canada is responsible for managing and maintaining a complex salesforce ecosystem with over 2,500 users across global markets and banking business units. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will play a critical role in collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams and Business Analysts to test and automate business requirements. In this position, you will be responsible for strategically planning and managing the successful implementation of these requirements. This role will involve coordinating, developing, leading, communicating, and executing activities to ensure objectives are accomplished on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prioritize manual testing activities
- Track software bugs and investigate their causes
- Troubleshoot automation software issues
- Create test plans and cases
- Prepare detailed test reports
- Prioritize and execute tests
- Review technical specifications and design documents
- Conduct regression testing when necessary
Requirements
Must-Haves
- Undergraduate degree
- 3+ years of QA experience (manual testing) with some automation exposure
- Comfortable with a hybrid work model
- Ability to work in a distributed and fast-paced team environment
Nice-to-Haves
- Financial industry experience with a capital markets background is a plus
- Salesforce QA testing experience is a plus
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Exposure to standard QA tools: Jira, qTest, Nexus, Jenkins, SQL, Confluence
