Position Overview
This role involves collaborating with a dynamic team focused on medium to large-scale development and enhancement initiatives for the Oracle eBusiness Suite (R12) and custom Oracle solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with Client Managers, Project Coordinators, Business Analysts, and Testing Teams to ensure prompt resolution of all projects, enhancements, system tickets, and defects.
- Analyze technical issues reported by client teams, conducting thorough investigations to identify root causes and appropriate remediation strategies utilizing Oracle PL/SQL and related technologies.
- Participate in daily SCRUM meetings, planning and grooming sessions, as well as weekly status updates and management discussions to address progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Collaborate with peers and leadership on process improvement initiatives, policy enhancements, and opportunities to elevate service experiences.
- Conduct peer testing, code reviews, and impact assessments of modules developed by team members.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Occasionally present to small groups on technical topics or demonstrate systems.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in PL/SQL and SQL.
- Proficient in Oracle PL/SQL development, including Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Hints, and data migration scripts.
- Experience in developing and debugging complex PL/SQL packages that handle large datasets, Collections, and advanced PL/SQL communications with Oracle.
- Familiarity with DBLinks, Hints, Performance Tuning, and managing Database Locks.
- Intermediate skills in UNIX shell scripting for debugging and development.
- Experience with version control tools such as Stash and GITHUB (including SourceTree and ClearCase), as well as Release Management build tools like Jenkins and BuildForge.
- Proficient in collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint) and application lifecycle management tools (e.g., JIRA, PPM).
- Experience in an Agile Development Environment with exposure to SCRUM methodologies.
- Familiarity with Oracle Applications (R12).
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
