**Home Campus**: Fennell (hybrid work arrangements available)
**Rate of Pay**: Payband H (Start Rate: $36.29 per hour)

Preference will be given to qualified employees within the Full Time Support Staff bargaining unit, Appendix D (in the role for 6 consecutive months) and RPT employees who have passed probation at Mohawk College.

This position is a contributor to the development of Mohawk College’s social media communities by collaborating on content. Additionally, this position will develop and maintain strong partnerships with essential client groups, including faculty members and representatives from various service areas across the college community.
**What you’ll be doing**:
**Communications Strategy**
- ** **Contributes to formulating a communication protocol for prospects and applicants to facilitate the seamless and efficient management of both inbound and outbound interactions across various teams.
- Contributes to development, implementation, and continuous refinement of an enrollment continuum that outlines all general and segment specific communication, events and interactions at various milestones in the enrolment journey.
- Assist in the development of communication plans and campaigns that align with the college’s strategy to convert direct and non-direct domestic applicants.
- Collaborate on the creation and implementation of a best practices model for communicating with the applicant audience, which includes the use of standard language.
- Formulate and implement strategies to help reach enrolment goals
- Collaborate with the creative and marketing team to ensure consistency across marketing messages.
- Identify social media marketing strategies based upon ever changing best practices, and in accordance with management guidelines and direction.
**Content Development**
- ** **Develop campaigns with distinct calls-to-action that are integrated with website content with a focus on key points in the enrolment continuum.
- Collaborate with various internal departments as required.
- Identify and create materials to support recruitment activities; large scale events and individual school visits.
**Analytics and Reporting**
- ** **Analyze campaign data and assess ROI performance against key metrics, including enrolment outcomes and provide recommendations for optimizing and enhancing campaign performance.
- Liaise with internal clients to define key success metrics.
- Analyze campaign data and ROI to align with internal reports and make recommendations to optimize and improve campaigns.
- Assist with the development of marketing performance analysis and reporting on a regular basis.

**What you’ll bring to the role**:
- ** **A minimum of three-year diploma/degree or certificate in marketing, public relations, advertising, social media, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with the following:
- Experience working in postsecondary environment.
- Expertise in marketing copywriting and content development.
- Proven ability/experience to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Financial acumen.
- Experience in researching and recommending new technologies with forecasted and planned budget resources.
- Demonstrated commitment and understanding of human rights, equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility.
- The ability to communicate and work effectively with diverse students, employees, and communities.
